We thank all the guests who visited Marstrand’s largest Christmas buffet with us. For those of you who missed this, there will be another chance in 2026 with probably the same arrangement as below.

Welcome to the Christmas table at Carlstens Fästning 2026
We meet all guests at the ferry landing on Marstrandsön for a joint torchlight procession (weather permitting) up to Kungsporten where we are welcomed by the officer on duty in a Carolinian uniform. You get a little history about Carlsten’s fortress with a stop for mulled wine and gingerbread before you come up to the Knight’s Hall where Marstrand’s largest Christmas buffet is served.

After dinner on Fridays & Saturdays we open the bar in the Battery level with music/dance/bar.

The ferry from Koön leaves at 16.07 and 18.07 respectively
