Our historic setting, with beautiful arches and halls, is a stunning setting for your wedding. Here you have the opportunity to get married in the Fortress’s own church, tasty three-course dinners, canon and/or musket salutes for the bride and groom and dancing all evening long – all according to your own wishes.
Our three-course menu suggestions give you the freedom to compose your own wedding dinner. Dinner includes waiters, candlelight, welcome drink, wine with food, coffee and banquet hall until 01:00. Of course, you can rent our banquet halls even further into the small hours and maybe you want to have a little night wake? Everything according to your wishes

The Knights’ Hall, the Powder Tower, the Battery Hall, the Armory and Lasse-Maja’s kitchen.
Just the names of the banquet halls we can offer will immediately take you away from everyday life.

Perhaps you choose a four course Viking dinner where guests eat on wooden plates and drink from bull horns. Marstrandsgille – a delicious buffet eat as much as you can! If you want something more traditional, choose Bohuslän evening or a three-course dinner.
We are happy to help book the entertainment you want. If you want to stay overnight, you can book both double rooms and 6-bed rooms at the fortress’s own accommodation Carlstens Soldathotell. Of course, we also arrange the trip here, 45 minutes by bus or two hours by boat from Gothenburg and ferry tickets. Read more about Directions here.
